The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a firearm that occurred sometime Tuesday.
According to the report, an unknown suspect stole a 9 millimeter handgun from the victim’s vehicle in the Harton Place area of the city. The pistol is listed at having a $600 value and no suspects are listed on the report.
The report does not say if the vehicle was locked or not.
