The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Donelson Parkway in Stewart County Thursday afternoon that killed a Dover woman.
According to a collision report, 42-year old Angela Gibbs-Weaver of Dover was walking in the middle of Donelson Parkway at the intersection of Taylor Chapel Road. A vehicle operated by 61-year old Beverly Lewis of Dover was traveling north bound on the parkway when she struck Gibbs-Weaver with the front driver side of the car.
Gibbs-Weaver was killed in the collision. Lewis was not injured and no criminal charges have been filed.
