The Hopkinsville Rotary Club heard a preview of the upcoming high school basketball seasons from the area coaches during its meeting today.
University Heights is the defending 2nd region champion and is coached by Grant Shouse, who is beginning his 7th season:

Christian County fell short in its bid to win the Second Region title last season. Kerry Stovall is in his second year of his second stint as Colonels coach:
The Colonels start the season facing McCracken County at the 811 Classic at Daviess County on December 1st.
