Weather workshop coming to Hopkinsville Nov. 3

National Weather Service personnel from the offices in Paducah, Louisville and Nashville will be in Hopkinsville Saturday, November 3rd for their annual Ken Tenn weather workshop.

It will go from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Ag Extension Office on Pembroke Road and it’s open to the public, with Paducah Warning Coordination Meteorologist Rick Shanklin saying there will be discussion on all types of weather that the region can experience.

He says they will review major weather events from the last year.

Shanklin says they will also hear from weather officials on Fort Campbell.

You can find a complete schedule for the day below and Shanklin says you don’t have to attend all of the seminars—you can come and go as you please.
