For the first time in program history, the Hopkinsville Tigers have advanced past the opening round of the KHSAA State Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Calloway County. The Tigers will move to the second round to face Butler High on Saturday. Elsewhere, Daviess County was a 3-1 winner over South Warren and moves on to face Highlands on Saturday.
