Two Tennessee residents were arrested Tuesday morning in Hopkinsville for heroin and methamphetamine charges.
Hopkinsville Police were called to the Lafayette Road Huck’s for a suspicious vehicle about 3 a.m. and learned it had moved to the parking lot of Morningside Assisted Living.
Officer Michael Felts made contact with 30-year old Martin Reyes and 27-year old Chasity Osteen of Nashville, who appeared to be under the influence of a substance, according to the arrest citation.
Both suspects gave consent to search the vehicle and police say they found two spoons containing heroin residue and a pipe containing methamphetamine. Jail personnel allegedly found marijuana on Reyes’ person.
Both suspects were charged with possession of meth, heroin and drug paraphernalia, with Reyes also charged with possession of marijuana and promoting contraband.
