Woman injured in Skyline Drive accident

A single-vehicle accident on Skyline Drive Thursday evening injured the driver.

It happened about 5:15 p.m. and the Hopkinsville Police report says 52-year old Belinda Cunningham of Hopkinsville had been headed west when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a grader blade on the property of Roeder Auction Company.

Her vehicle rolled one time and came to rest on its roof.

Cunningham was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

She told police she had been choking and coughing prior to the accident and may have briefly fainted before running off the road.
