Details have been released on the wreck Sunday night on I-24 involving a tractor-trailer.
The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Will Meyers says 57-year old Rodney Jones of Hermitage, Tennessee as eastbound in the left lane near the 84 mile-marker when his semi left the road and struck the barrier cables in the median.
Passing motorists pulled Jones from the vehicle and he was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He was wearing his seat belt, according to the report.
