Former Kentucky forward Bam Adebayo was named in the college basketball corruption trial. During day two of the trial, financial advisor Munish Sood says he met with Stephen Pina about paying Bam Adebayo and other Kentucky players in hopes of landing them as potential clients. Adebayo was selected 14th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Meanwhile, the father of former five-star recruit Brian Bowen testified Thursday. Brian Bowen Sr. says sports agent Christian Dawkins facilitated a $100-thousand offer from Adidas for his son to commit to Louisville. He also claimed to have accepted $1,300 from former Louisville associate head coach Kenny Johnson.
