Pennsylvania man killed in Dawson Springs crash

Kentucky State Police are investigating a collision in Dawson Springs that killed a Pennsylvania man.

According to a news release, investigation determined that 63-year old William Kelly of Pennsylvania had been operating a vehicle northbound on I-69 near the 99 mile marker when it left the roadway for an unknown reason. It went off the right side of the road and down an embankment, striking a barbed wire fence and a tree before coming to a stop in a field.

Kelley was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.
