Kentucky coach John Calipari will receive an award next month. According to a news release from the school, Calipari will be honored November 15th by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and The Rotary Club of Springfield at the ninth annual Basketball Hall of Fame/Springfield Rotary “Service Above Self” Luncheon. Calipari will be given a “Service Above Self” award for his charitable work.
