The Boys 2nd region tournament took place Thursday on a cold, rainy day at Madisonville Country Club. UHA’s Weston Wood earned a spot in next week’s KHSAA State Tournament in Bowling Green after firing a 76. Daviess County won the team competition at 320, with Owensboro Catholic finishing second at 338. Both teams will advance to next week’s state tournament.
Hopkinsville was led by James Folz with 77, good for sixth place individually. Christian County was led by Houston George with 89.
Following two weather delays, the Girls 2nd region tournament is slated to take place today at Ben Hawes State Park.
