Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Todd County man Sunday afternoon on Stateline Road south of Allensville.

Investigation by Kentucky State Police led to the arrests Wednesday morning in Logan County of 26-year old Brandi Scruggs of Guthrie and 31-year old Daniel Westbrook of Russellville. Westbrook is charged with murder and Scruggs with complicity to murder and tampering with evidence.

Warrants obtained by WHOP say Scruggs was driving a car with 47-year old Jerry Robertson of Guthrie as a passenger and that she planned with others to lure him to the Stateline Road area.

A pickup occupied by several people including Westbrook, 22-year old Faith Martin of Bowling Green and 36-year old Timmie Latham of Bowling Green passed their car and then stopped just north of KY 848, blocking their lane of travel.

Westbrook allegedly exited the vehicle and shot Robertson three times. The warrant says Robertson was still breathing when Scruggs left the scene with the other suspects in the pickup, but he later died at the scene from his injuries.

Martin and Latham were arrested in Hart County and charged with complicity to murder and tampering with evidence.
