Hopkinsville man appointed to state council

A Hopkinsville man and a Princeton woman have been appointed by Governor Matt Bevin to the Kentucky Consumer Advisory Council.

Rick Hamby, of Hopkinsville, retired as the system director for credit programs at Eastern Kentucky University. He will serve for a term expiring Sept. 8, 2020, according to a news release from the governor’s office.

Sheila Hodges, of Princeton, is an insurance agent. She will serve for a term expiring Sept. 8, 2019.
