A Trigg County man has been served with a warrant for burglary and assault.
It alleges that on September 3rd, 43-year old Corey Stallworth of Cadiz burst into a home and assaulted the victim’s boyfriend. The boyfriend had to seek medical treatment for an injured hand.
The female homeowner took out an emergency protective order against Stallworth and police say he violated it two days later when he returned to the home.
He is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and violation of an EPO.
