A traffic stop on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning led to a passenger being arrested for methamphetamine trafficking.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Tyler Hancock stopped a vehicle for having expired tags about 10:45 a.m. and received consent to search the car. An arrest citation says a pouch containing baggies of a crystal residue were located under the passenger seat and a search of 37-year old James Ferrell’s person allegedly revealed a large amount of cash.
Ferrell was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
