Absentee ballots through the mail are now available for Christian County residents who won’t be able to make it to their polling place on November 6th and in-person absentee voting will soon begin at the clerk’s office.
Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries says call them at 270-887-4105 to request an application for a paper absentee ballot that you can mail back in.
If you can make it to the clerk’s office, but not to your precinct on election day, then you can vote absentee during regular business hours—with a tentative start date of October 15th.
Kentucky law recently changed to allow disabled individuals to vote absentee at their county clerk’s office regardless of where they will be on Election Day.
