Clarksville Police began an investigation last year that has resulted in the indictment and arrest of a man for an alleged sexual assault against a juvenile.
The investigation began with an allegation that 38-year old Barry McCoy of Clarksville had sexually assaulted a male juvenile.
The Clarksville Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit investigated then presented its findings to a grand jury. They returned a sealed indictment for four counts of rape, four counts of statutory rape, and patronizing prostitution.
McCoy was arrested and lodged in the Montgomery County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
