MLB: Brewers blast Reds, Cards & Cubs win

Christian Yelich became the first player to hit for the cycle against the same team twice in one season as the Milwaukee Brewers bashed the Cincinnati Reds 8-0. Yelich finished 4-for-4 with four RBI. The teams play again tonight at Miller Park with pregame at 6:10 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals belted four home runs in an 11-6 win over the Atlanta Braves. Kolten Wong, Paul DeJong, Harrison Bader and Yadier Molina all reached the seats for St. Louis, which scored three times in the first inning and never trailed. The teams meet again tonight at Sun Trust Park.

Javier Baez belted a two-run homer in a three-run sixth inning as the Chicago Cubs cruised to a 5-1 win over Arizona Diamondbacks. Chicago, which remains two-and-a-half games ahead of Milwaukee for the NL Central lead. The teams play again tonight in Phoenix.
