Covington Catholic remains the top ranked team in the Cantrall Top 25 poll from the Lexington Herald Leader. Bowling Green is fifth, Mayfield is tied for 8th, South Warren is 15th and Paducah Tilghman is 23rd this week.
Hopkinsville is ranked sixth in the Class 4-A poll while Christian County is ninth in the 5-A poll.
Christian County returns to action Friday night following an off week on the road. The Colonels open district play at Marshall County with kickoff at 7 pm, with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 6:30 on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com.
Hopkinsville is off this week after falling at Paducah Tilghman on Friday.
