A Madisonville man was injured Wednesday afternoon after his car crashed into a house.
It happened about 4:45 p.m., according to a news release from Madisonville Police, which says 39-year old Matthew Nelson of Madisonville was traveling on Stagecoach Road when his vehicle exited the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and power pole and came to rest after hitting a house at 320 Stagecoach.
Nelson was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries.
