Funeral arrangements have been announced for Churchill Downs Vice President of Racing Communications John Asher. The body will lie at Churchill Downs Tuesday, September 4th from 10 am-7 pm Hopkinsville time with the funeral to be held Wednesday, September 5th at 1 pm Hopkinsville time at Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville. The 62-year-old Asher died Monday while vacationing with family in Florida.
