Kentucky was on the practice field yesterday. Senior linebacker Jordan Jones was a full participant after being slowed by some minor injuries in recent weeks. The quarterback competition is still up for grabs but junior college transfer Terry Wilson is the favorite to get the starting nod. The Wildcats open the season September 1st against Central Michigan.
Meanwhile, Louisville continues to prep for their Week One matchup against the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide. Wide receiver Jaylen Smith was back on the practice field yesterday and is optimistic he will be ready for the Week One opener, which is September 1st in Orlando.
