Two 18-year old Clarksville women have been charged in connection with the shooting death of a teen Sunday morning.
The incident happened about 7 a.m. on Granny White Road, according to a news release, which says Clarksville officers responded to a shooting and found the 17-year old male victim deceased from a gunshot wound.
Investigation determined that 18-year old Nautica Ann Spicer of Clarksville had been playing with an unloaded gun. At some point and unknown to Spicer, the gun was later loaded and she pointed it at the victim and pulled the trigger.
Police say Spicer left the scene, disassembled the gun and discarded pieces of the firearm at different locations. A second female, 18-year old Kerigan Leann Silverwood, as also at the scene and she allegedly assisted in the disassembly of the gun and drove Spicer around.
The news release says Silverwood and Spicer were both friends with the victim.
