Graham files for school board, other last minute non-partisan Christian Co. filings

There were several more filings in Christian County before the non-partisan deadline Tuesday afternoon.

Christian County Constable Mark Graham, who lost a reelection bid in the May primary, filed to seek the District 5 seat on the Christian County School Board and will oppose Tom Bell in November.

Meanwhile, Jeff Moore, who was appointed to the District 1 school board seat, has filed to seek a full term.

Lafayette Mayor Wallace Mason has filed for reelection and Hayden Hancock and Heather Meacham are seeking another term on the city commission. Incumbent Sandra Torres and newcomer Julie Dietrich previous filed to fill out the four-person panel.

In Oak Grove, Carol Lowther, Valerie Laux and Kish Jeffrey joined the list of candidates running for city council.

Brenda Cranor West filed for Crofton City Council and Brenda West is hoping to join the Pembroke City Council.
