Cadiz woman flown to Vanderbilt following Trigg Co. wreck

A Cadiz woman was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Friday following a two-vehicle collision at Cerulean Road and Rocky Ridge Road in Trigg County.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Lt. Rick Johnson says the wreck happened in the intersection of those roads when vehicles driven by 53-year old Kevin Laurent of Princeton and 53-year old Penny Radford of Cadiz collided, causing Radford’s vehicle to flip multiple times.

Laurent was uninjured but Radford was flown to Vanderbilt for treatment of head injuries. Lt. Johnson says she was conscious and speaking with deputies on scene.  Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and the collision occurred around noon.
