The James Bruce Convention Center was filled to the brim Saturday night for the Brice Long Back to Back Foundation Concert in an effort to raise money to help those in need.
All money raised goes to benefit families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties have a good Christmas and Long says this event has grown significantly, both in how many sponsors have signed on and how many families they have been able to help.
He says it’s his goals next year to pack the current convention center and also the new expansion that is under construction currently.
Around 1,200 people attended and were able to not only watch the concert but also participate in a silent auction that included gift cards, handwritten song lyrics, a guitar signed by George Straight and more.
Long was joined by songwriter Mark Nesler and the show was headlined by season nine American Idol contestant and recording artist Casey James.
