Hoppers travel to Owensboro for game one of OVL title series

The Hoptown Hoppers are on the road this evening for game one of the OVL Championship Series against the Owensboro River Dawgs. The Dawgs have the best record in the league at 32-14 while the Hoppers are 25-20. Owensboro won four of the six regular season meetings. Brian Coffey is slated to get the pitching start for the Hoppers. It will be his first appearance of the season against Owensboro.

First pitch from Independence Bank Field is at 7:05, with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com. Game two of the series is tomorrow night at Colonel Field at 7:05, with the third game-if needed-to be played Sunday night in Owensboro.
