Former Hoptown Hoppers coach Trey Porras has landed a new coaching position. Porras will be an assistant on the staff at Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, TX. He is an alumus of the school and most recently worked as an assistant at the University of New Mexico. Porras was Hoppers coach in the 2015 and 2016 seasons going 48-36, including a 34-10 record in 2016 when the Hoppers were declared OVL champions.
