Brittany Lincicome will have to wait until today to resume her bid to make the cut in a PGA Tour event. Overnight storms delayed the start of the second round Friday at the Barbasol Championship, and an afternoon thunderstorm suspended competition for good. The round will resume Saturday morning with much of the field still to play.
Troy Merritt has the clubhouse lead at 15 under, following an opening 62 with a 67 for a two round total of 129. Billy Horschel is two shots back at 13 under 131 following a six under par 66 Friday. Lexington native Josh Teater, calling the Barbasol “ his major”, made a big move up the board before the weather halted play. Teater had a six under 64 and stands at 10 under 134.
