The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center says it’s in critical need of blood donations.
They are specifically in need of O Negative, A Negative and B Negative blood, but all types are requested.
Those willing to give blood are urged to go to the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center at 1902 South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville during regular business hours—9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Donors must be 17 years old, or 16 years old with a parent consent form. Donors must weigh at least 115 pounds.
They must check all medications with the blood center staff and must wait 56 days between blood donation.
