Hoppers blow two leads at Fulton

The Hoptown Hoppers had leads of 9-1 after two innings and 12-6 going into the bottom of the 8th before the Fulton Railroaders scored eight times in that frame to rally and win 14-12 last night at Lohaus Field. Blake Jackson, Aidan Elias and Ryan Traylor each had three hits with Malik Blaise chipping in two doubles. Nick Proto homered for the second straight night and Cody Hartness, the sixth Hopper pitcher of the night took the loss.

The Hoppers close out the regular season with the Madisonville Miners this evening clinging to a half game lead over Paducah in the West Division. First pitch is at 7:05 at Colonel Field, with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
