A 10-year old Todd County boy was injured in an accident involving a bow and arrow Saturday evening at a home on Lack Road.
It happened about 7:30 p.m. and Todd County Rescue Squad Assistant Chief Perry Knight says the arrow went into the skin of the boy’s hand about an inch above his wrist and emerged from the skin on the top of his hand just below his fingers. The arrow was still in his hand when first responders arrived.
EMS transported him to a local hospital to for treatment of the non-life-threatening injuries.
Knight says it wasn’t immediately clear how the accident happened.
