Pembroke woman served with warrants

A Pembroke woman was arrested and served with a warrant for wanton endangerment by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department Thursday.

According to the warrant, on May 16 48-year old Kimberly Covington of Pembroke allegedly went to Haddock’s Grocery after being told to not go there and drove through the parking lot. It says that on an earlier date, Covington had operated her vehicle in a wanton fashion by driving up behind the victim, who was walking in a parking lot and coming close to striking them.

Covington also allegedly called the victim’s relative repeatedly even though she had been told to not do so by the County Attorney’s office.

Covington was arrested and served with warrants for second-degree wanton endangerment, criminal trespassing and harassing communications.
