The Henderson Gleaner reports Henderson County High School will have a new softball coach next season. Jimmy Collins was dismissed after three seasons after what he claimed were parental complaints.
Collins did not specifically tell what led to his dismissal and Henderson County athletic director Jeff Coursey said he could not discuss the specific reason for Collins’ dismissal because it was a personnel matter. Collins was 33-60 during his tenure as Lady Colonels head coach.
