Fire damaged an apartment at the Campbell Place Apartments on Denzil Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Futrell spoke with WHOP News at the scene and says the fire started on a stove in apartment 10 of the 1800 building and everyone inside was able to get out with no injuries.
Smoke and water damage did go into the adjoining apartments and 13 adults and two children have been displaced until the units are deemed safe to return to.
The call came out shortly before 6 p.m. and all units in the building are being vacated due to the blaze.
