It’s Pennyrile Electric Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair.
Brent Gilkey says use the ticket you received with your Kentucky Living Magazine to gain free entry into the fair for your whole family from 4 until 6 and the annual meeting starts about 5:30 p.m. in the air conditioned convention center.
The FFA/Homemakers exhibits open today in the convention center and Tiffany Bolinger says they include all of the familiar categories.
Go cart racing is the featured event in the grandstand at 7 p.m. and Preston Rives says there’s still time for additional participants—just show up a couple hours early.
Rides open at 5 p.m. and it’s an $18 arm band night.
2,490 people went to the Western Kentucky State Fair Monday, bringing the 4-night total to 15,282.
