Murray State’s Austin Knight is tied for eighth place after the first round of the Kentucky Amateur Championship in Prospect. The Hopkinsville native had a one over par 73. Hopkinsville’s Tadd Switzer had an eight over par 80 and Carson Holmes had a 10 over par 82. Alex Doss of Campbellsville and Joshua Rhodes of Paducah are tied for the lead at two under par 70.
