Princeton man cited after dog found with no food or water

A Princeton man was cited into court Wednesday for animal cruelty.

Princeton Police responded to a complaint that a dog at on McLin Street did not have food or water and a news release says investigation led to 62-year old James Richardson of Dollar Street being cited for second-degree cruelty to animals, having a dog at large and failure to vaccinate for rabies.

The dog was taken to a veterinarian to receive care, according to police.
