A man on Kentucky’s death row for a teenager’s murder is getting a new hearing, and possibly a new sentence.
The Kentucky Supreme Court ordered that Robert Keith Woodall get a new sentencing hearing for the 1998 rape and murder of 16-year-old Sarah Hansen in Muhlenberg County.
Prosecutors used an IQ test to see if Woodall was a candidate for the death penalty, but the high court said those kinds of tests are outdated.
