Princeton’s Emma Talley had a one under par 70 at the LPGA Tour’s Shoprite Classic in Galloway, NJ on Friday. She trails the leaders by four shots as Laura Diaz, Anna Nordqvist and Celine Herbin who are five under par.
Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker blistered the TPC Southwind course outside of Memphis Friday firing a 62 at the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex St. Jude Classic. He currently stands sixth at seven under par, three shots behind leader Dustin Johnson. Kentuckian JB Holmes is tied for 14th at four under.
Bernhard Langer had an eight under par 64 at the PGA Tour Champions Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines, IA Friday. He leads Glen Day and Woody Austin by a stroke. Franklin’s Kenny Perry and Paducah’s Russ Cochran are tied for 39th as both had one under 71’s Friday.
