HCC nursing students excel on exam

Hopkinsville Community College can boast that 100 percent of the college’s Associate Degree Registered Nurse graduates who tested in 2017 passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses on their first attempt.

Ninety-four percent of the previous class passed on the first attempt and the national average is 85 percent, according to a news release from the college.

HCC Director of Nursing Peggy Bozarth says, “Hopkinsville’s exam results for the 2017 testing group demonstrate the hard work and dedication of both nursing students and faculty. We pride ourselves in the accomplishments and quality of our graduates.”
