Man facing numerous charges after alleged burglary

A Clarksville man was arrested in Christian County Friday by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department for numerous charges following reports of a burglary in progress.

According to the police report, deputies arrived at the Idlewild Spur residence to find 23-year old Dustin Lambert of Clarksville, who the home owner did not know, in the home. He was eating and had just taken a shower.  A search of Lambert’s belonging allegedly revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia including a pipe, syringes and a straw.

Lambert allegedly admitted to smoking meth that day and was taken to the hospital for medical clearance. While at Jennie Stuart, he reportedly became disruptive, screaming at hospital staff and other patients.

Lambert was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, possession of meth, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
