The Courier Journal reports Kentucky and Indiana have had preliminary discussions about renewing their series. IU athletics director Fred Glass said earlier this week that Coach Archie Miller has a great relationship with Coach John Calipari and added he’s optimistic something will get worked out. The teams have not played since 2011 when Christian Watford of the Hoosiers hit a buzzer beater in Assembly Hall. A source says when the series is renewed, it will likely be played on neutral floors, rather than a home and home series.
