Tennessee residents injured in I-24 wreck

A vehicle versus deer accident Monday night on I-24 in Christian County injured two Tennessee residents.

The incident happened near the 87 mile-marker about 9:15 p.m., according to the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Myers, which says Thomas Heydweiller of Antioch, Tennessee was westbound when a deer ran into the path of his SUV.

Heydweiller and a passenger, Barbara Heydweiller of Cambridge, Tennessee, were both taken to Tennova Hospital in Clarksville for injuries associated with the airbags deploying.

All three occupants of the SUV were wearing their seat belts.
