The 400 Mile Yard Sale along US 68 in Kentucky is Thursday through Sunday and will bring large numbers of bargain hunters to the region.
Elkton City Clerk Laura Brock says they’ve encouraged residents throughout that city to have their yard sales in conjunction with the event.
She says business around the Historic Public Square will be having special sales to attract some of the yard sale chasers.
There’s a printable list and map on the City of Elkton website to help you locate all of the sales.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reminding motorists on US 68 to use abundant caution this weekend. Be alert for slow-moving traffic and for automobiles stopping at sales and other vendors.
Bargain hunters are urged to not park along the highway, but to instead try to find spot off the road. Sale hosts should never put signs in the right of way where they can block the view of oncoming traffic.
There’s a chance of rain and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday, but it should not be a total washout by any means.
