A rear-end collision involving a motorcycle on Highland Lick Road in Logan County Sunday afternoon caused severe injuries to the biker.
A news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department says 55-year old Steve Hayes of Higland Lick Road was stopped with traffic in the westbound lane when his motorcycle was struck in the rear by a pickup driven by 26-year old Zachary Shannon of Auburn.
Hayes was flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville with serious injuries and Shannon was not hurt.
