An investigation by Hopkinsville Police on West Edmonds Street Saturday led to the arrest of a local man on a burglary charge.
An arrest citation for 52-year old Adrian Thomas of Hopkinsville says he allegedly kicked in the door at the victim’s home in an attempt to retrieve a box he claimed she stole from him.
The alleged victim was able to force Thomas out of the home during a struggle over the box.
Thomas is charged with second-degree burglary.
