Man flown to Nashville hospital after Parkway wreck

A wreck Memorial Day morning on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County sent the driver of a pickup to a Nashville hospital.

It happened about 10:30 a.m. near the Martin Luther King, Jr. Bypass interchange and Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Will Meyers gave details to WHOP News at the scene.

The driver of the pickup was taken by EMS to the Air Evac helipad and then flown to a hospital in Nashville for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

His name has not been released, but he is thought to be a Christian County resident.
