The second game of the day pits two time defending regional champion Caldwell County against Union County at 1 pm.

2nd region Softball at Hopkins Central: Action begins at 11 am with Madisonville going against Henderson County followed at 1 pm by 4th ranked Christian County meeting Trigg County. Despite being the tournament favorite, Lady Colonels coach Johnny Blane is not taking any game lightly:
